The riders' request is meant to give you maximum protection with minimal material. The foam triangles in the impact vest are fully stitched through to prevent the foam from shifting within its pockets. The unique diamond pattern of the blocks allows the foam to be thinner, making this vest less bulky giving you a tighter fit.
